Caregiver Book Club Participation Agreement and Informed Consent
Thank you for your interest in joining the Parent Book Club at Children’s Trauma Healing Center. To ensure a positive and clear experience for all participants, please review and acknowledge the following information regarding the nature of this book club and its boundaries.
Purpose and Scope
The Parent Book Club is intended as an educational and supportive space for learning, reflection, and group discussion around parenting topics. This group is not a therapeutic service and is not intended to provide clinical treatment, therapeutic intervention, or individual guidance.
Confidentiality and Privacy
While we encourage a respectful and confidential environment, please note:
Book club discussions are not bound by the same confidentiality standards as therapy sessions.
Participants are asked to refrain from sharing personal, case-specific details, as this is not a clinical group setting.
Boundaries and Role of the Facilitator
As the facilitator, my role is to guide group discussion and promote learning around the selected book topics. The book club is not a forum for case-specific feedback, individual assessments, or treatment recommendations for specific family or client situations.
Voluntary Participation
Participation in the Parent Book Club is completely voluntary and not a requirement for any ongoing therapy services. It is meant to be an independent learning experience separate from clinical care.

You understand the purpose and non-clinical nature of the Parent Book Club.
You agree not to seek or expect specific feedback on individual situations.
You consent to participate within the outlined guidelines above.

Completion of our registration form and agreement to our Parent Book Club Participation Agreement and Informed Consent is required for participation in this group.
